SOFT OPENING of Borneo Divers Dive Academy and Leisure Centre on 18 May 2016
On 18th May 2016, Borneo Divers is honoured to have local agents, business partners and consultants with us to celebrate the completion of the first phase of the construction and development of the Borneo Divers Dive Academy and Leisure Centre at the beautiful Mamutik Island in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The ground breaking of the said development took place on 2nd May 2015.
Borneo Divers is a first professional full service dive company in Borneo – a pioneer and trusted name when it comes to recreational diving. We are also a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre. Established in 1984, Borneo Divers has been conducting PADI courses for all levels since 1992, from Recreational Certification Programs to Professional Level Qualifications.
The Borneo Divers Dive Academy and Leisure Centre offers a wide range of courses and specialisations for divers at all levels, from Open Water to speciality diving courses. With the experienced dive instructors coupled with the enhanced with top-notch facilities and amenities, including a swimming pool for training sessions, a fully-equipped dive station and classrooms, our guests would enjoy their courses in a more amicable and enjoyable environment at this fantastic waters of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.
The Borneo Divers Dive Academy and Leisure Centre also offers snorkeling and Discover Scuba Diving–the basics of scuba divers to those uninitiated to the underwater world, and offer a variety of water sports for all guests. Our dining facilities can service up to 500 diners at a time. We are also excited to offer a truly unique venue for themed dinners and parties. The Borneo Divers Dive Academy and Leisure Centre is built to facilitate both business and pleasure, be it underwater or top side.
