The PADI Open Water Diver Course consists of 3 main phases:

• Knowledge Development (On line or in Classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
• Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skill
• Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore

Prerequisites:

To enroll in the PADI Open Water Course or Junior Open Water Course, you must:

• Be 10 years or older (PADI E-Learning requires a minimum age of 13 years due to international internet laws)
• Read and Sign the Assumption of Risk and Liability Release form
• Fill out the Medical Declaration Form
• Be able to swim and tread water comfortably

• Free use of Full set diving equipment (except for prescription mask and Dive Computer)
• 3 days 2 nights dormitory accommodation with meals (refer to itinerary) at Mamutik island
• Sabah Park entrance fee and diving fees
• Scheduled return land transfer from hotel to Star Marina on arrival and departure days (within KK city area)
• Scheduled return boat transfer from Star Marina to Mamutik island on arrival and departure days

Itinerary

A minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours after diving is recommended.
